Rivalta Hotel is just 10 minutes from the Main Station of Santa Maria Novella. Once you are out from the station, you can take a taxi or choose to walk. If you like walking, just simply cross the road to get to Piazza Santa Maria Novella and then take Via de Fossi. Once at Piazza Goldoni, Via dè Fossi. after turning left and walked along the river, you will arrive at Lungarno Corsini. Our entrance is on the left at no. 2.
Florence and Pisa airports are well connected with Santa Maria train station.
From Pisa Airport you can take a region train or a bus. From Florence Airport, the options are the following: taxi, which usually has a fixed price of 22 euro + 1 euro per bag; bus, which fixed prices start from 6 euro to 10 euro depending on the Bus company.
Once you arrive from theHighway , Florence Impruneta is the right exit. Following the directions to Florence, you arrive to a round about near a large door, Porta Romana. Enter from Porta Romana to the city centre and go straight in Via Romana. At the end of the rue, once you arrive at a crossroads, turn slightly into Via Maggio and continue straight until the bridge. Do not cross the Bridge in front you, but turn left to Lungarno Guicciardini and then turn right to the Ponte (Bridge) alla Carraia. After crossing the bridge, turn right and reach to Lungarno Corsini. Our main entrance is at Number 2.
If you use a Navigator, we kindly suggest you to follow all our instructions and the road sign: the center of Florence is often subject to traffic changes and navigators could be not updated. Rivalta Hotel has place in the city centre, in a limited traffic zone and has a temporary parking, located a few meters before the main entrance, in Lungarno Corsini 6 and you can use it for the and can be used for unloading luggage. Thereforeasour guests you can access the Limited Traffic Zone: it is sufficient to communicate the plate number of the car upon the arrival. Through a special telematic program, the communication will be transmitted to the City of Florence, in order to avoid penalties.
Parkings with white lines in the city centre are reserved to residences. The chances to park in the city are the following ones:
1) Private Parking: Rivalta hotel collaborates with a private parking which has cost between 30 and 35 euros depending on the size of the car. In case you might be interested by this proposal, we kindly invite you to inform te reception upon your arrival; the garage’ staff will take care of the pick-up of your car in front of the Hotel and they will drop off after the check-out or during your stay, in case you might need it to exit from the city centre.
2) Public parking (blue) – 20 minutes walking from the Hotel. The cost is 2 euro for the first hour; 3 euro on the following hours until 8 pm; 1 euro from 8 pm until 11 pm. From 1 am until 8 am and on holidays the public parking is free.
3) Public Garage – 20 minutes walking from the Hotel. Open 24h. Daily price: estimated 30 euro. (24h)
